Natural rubber:
Natural rubber is a valuable raw material from Sri Lanka that is biodegradable. Rubber trees can bind a lot of carbon dioxide from the air and thus make an enormous contribution to climate protection. No forests or other natural ecosystems are destroyed for the cultivation of rubber.
Natural rubber is obtained by hand in a gentle form and is a renewable raw material. The energy required for extraction, manufacture and transport is only about 10% of the effort involved in extracting and manufacturing the chemical production of synthetic latex. The natural rubber is free from solvents, CFCs and carcinogenic chemical softeners.
